Avast VPN Review

The Avast VPN application is easy to use, simple to use and comes with several good security features. But, it lacks some important features, like a kill switch and split tunneling. Also, it’s not equipped with a built-in Ad-blocker. Although it’s a great product overall, there are other services with better features at a lower price.

Anyone who has used Avast anti-virus software will be familiar with the Windows client’s pleasant, easy-to navigate interface. It’s simple to use and understand. The hamburger menu at the right hand side will take you to “Settings.” You can connect to the server automatically or manually by clicking on the Change Location button. You’ll then see the servers listed by region and function (P2P or streaming).

Avast VPN anchor is a strong security option thanks to its 256-bit AES encryption, which stops WebRTC leaks and DNS leaks. It also supports the highly secure OpenVPN protocol and has beta support for WireGuard, which lets you connect to areas that might otherwise block VPNs. It’s a great choice for people who have intermittent internet connections.

Avast’s privacy policies are more transparent than the other ones, and it does not log your IP address or websites you visit. However, it records the amount of data you upload and downloaded over your session.

Avast VPN offers a free 7-day trial. It doesn’t require any credit card. Then, you can select one three-year, two or three-year contracts for up to five devices at the same time. It accepts PayPal, Perfect Money and credit cards but does not provide cash or cryptocurrencies.
